ARuntime Reference

Editorial Policy

ARuntime owns its editorial taxonomy and distinguishes fact, official capability, research result, synthesis, proposal, and forecast.

Audience: Technical readers Reading time: 2 minutes Status: Publication policy Last reviewed:

ARuntime is an independently maintained technical publication. Its taxonomy is an editorial framework, not a formal standard or vendor certification.

Taxonomy ownership

Michael Kappel maintains the current taxonomy and publication implementation. Definitions may be revised when primary sources and operating practice justify change. Material taxonomy changes receive a changelog entry.

Source hierarchy

Formal specifications and public guidance lead; then original research and official documentation/repositories; then high-quality secondary sources when necessary. Product claims use official sources and UTC verification.

Claims and comparisons

ARuntime does not publish unsupported leaderboards, market-share claims, adoption claims, compatibility claims, or benchmark extrapolations. Comparisons state scope, versions, assumptions, sources, exclusions, and unverified fields.

Review dates

“Last reviewed” means the material content and sources were checked on that UTC date. Template or style changes do not automatically refresh it. Publication and material-change dates remain separate where available.

Conflicts of interest

Relevant financial, employment, sponsorship, or partnership relationships should be disclosed with affected content. No customers, reviewers, partners, or endorsements are implied without a real public basis.

Generated assistance

Automated systems may assist research organization, drafting, code, and validation. Material claims require source review; generated output is not treated as an authority. Unsupported or ambiguous claims are removed, qualified, or retained only in private research memory.

Material changes

Foundational definitions, taxonomy, comparison rules, and substantial corrections receive meaningful change notes. Review dates are not advanced merely because a site-wide component changed.

Corrections

Corrections are evaluated against authoritative sources. Accepted changes are made without hiding prior material history. Disputed interpretations may be labeled when reliable sources disagree.
