Resource Workflow

Resource Review Workflow

Quarterly editorial workflow for reviewing external AI runtime resource links and adding deprecation notices.

Audience: Technical readers Reading time: 2 minutes Status: Foundational Last reviewed:

aRuntime.com reviews external resource links quarterly and after major protocol, runtime, security, or project-governance changes.

Quarterly review cadence

  1. Export the current resource directory and profile list.
  2. Open every official documentation URL and verify that it still resolves to the authoritative source.
  3. Check whether the resource scope, project status, major version, maintainer, license, or security posture has changed.
  4. Update the profile content, source metadata, and UTC last-reviewed date.
  5. Record known limitations when a claim cannot be verified from primary documentation.

Deprecation notices

When a resource is archived, moved, superseded, or no longer directly relevant to AI runtime architecture, add a dated notice at the top of the profile. Do not remove the page immediately if inbound links may exist; update the profile with replacement guidance and keep redirects stable.

Review criteria

  • Official documentation still resolves.
  • The resource still has a clear runtime role.
  • The description does not overstate the resource as a complete AI runtime when it is only one layer.
  • Security-sensitive claims are tied to current primary sources.
  • External links open in a new tab with accessible text and safe rel attributes.
